"Geoff was able to work in with my restricted deadline, and even though I was not present with Geoff for some of our meetings due to interstate work commitments, Geoff was able to make himself available online for virtual meetings to discuss my design needs. " Where do we start to begin how thrilled we are with the result. Our tired old pool area has been brought into the year 2011.
We are confident that the value of our property would have been improved, but more importantly, we now use the area more often. The Bali hut provides shade and cool. When looking down to the pool area from the upstairs balcony, the result is like looking onto a resort. We also have privacy from our neighbour so we no longer feel that we are being looked upon.
From initial consultation you knew what we were trying to achieve and gave us very good ideas ( eg angling the Bali Hut and the bamboo screening)
All your staff were well coordinated and there was little delay that could have been avoided. The only delay to the project was the rain over Xmas, and you were at our home whenever the weather was fine.
As the project progressed, more work was identified and never once did we feel that we were overextending your willingness to assist. You were both so keen and as interested in the project as ourselves.
Even when the project was officially finished , we appreciated you returning to attend to minor problems including the replacement of a very sick Mexican Lily and further tidy up.
Geoff you would have to be one of the best tradesman, in terms of customer service and interpersonal skills, that we have had the pleasure of working with. You are so reliable and kept us informed of each and every development. We were particularly impressed by the long hours you and Ben put in leading up to Xmas. Although the weather was hot and humid, you were both determined to have the pool area safe and clean for our family to use over the holiday period.
You are extremely approachable, with great organisational and operational ability. We admire both you and Ben for the effort and hard work you put in.
Quality of workmanship and finished product is excellent. All paving has just the right fall and all lines are clean and smooth. The retaining wall , built from ozlogs is far superior in workmanship and finish than other walls that have been built by other tradesman at our home. The end result is extremely neat. Our paved stairs that had previously been DIY, look far neater and tidy with all joints neatly seeled and obviously more professionally laid than previously.
Geoff and his team would have to be the hardest working and most reliable tradesman that we have worked with. You only need to look at the quality of the workmanship at our home to see the benefit of their service. They have vision as to what the finished product can look like and aren’t afraid of suggesting ideas.
You are far more experienced and skilled at paving, building stairs and retaining walls than we ever could be. There is no way that our outdoor area would look as good as the end result you that you have left us with. Thanks again!"

"Geoff’s professional manner and punctuality was a stand out from other consultations from other companies. Second Natures experience in sandy, salty coastal environments was also extremely beneficial.
We had a limited budget after building our home and Second Nature worked with us to determine how to best use the funds available. It was great to work with people that wanted to get a beneficial outcome as much as we did, regardless of the size of the project. The turf leveling in particular was very impressive. Survey equipment and string lines were used to ensure correct falls from Front to Back Yard drained correctly. Very happy with the end result.
From all the trades used to complete out house and land, Second Nature was the easiest contractor to deal with. Geoff was in constant contact to let us know the status of the job. We were called immediately if anything came up during the landscaping that needed our attention. Nothing was too much trouble. The site was cleaned and tool tidied away at the end of every day, which I was happy to see as we have 2 kids under 2 years old.
Our block consists mainly of beach sand, and looked pretty much like a beach after the site had been cleaned from the builders. Second Nature transformed the sand into a yard of turf, paving and garden beds that our family can now enjoy. Even our neighbours have commented on the dramatic transformation of our property. We couldn’t be happier with the end result.
I was originally thinking about trying to “do” our yard myself. After talking to a few people around our area, they convinced me to give Second Nature a call. Geoff turned up at the time we agreed, was very approachable and open to all of our ideas. Time is precious to me, and there was nothing more rewarding than leaving our “Beach Looking” property for work and coming home to a professionally landscaped home. Even on tight budgets like ours, the workmanship and result surpassed our expectations. It saved me about 20 back breaking weekends compared to 3 days work with the right equipment and people for the job. "

We were able to watch the development of our landscaping without having to worry about anything. Geoff is very thorough and pays great attention to detail.
Geoff consulted with us at each stage of the work so we were always involved in the decision making.
